  • 225 gr raw shrimp (peeled, deveined and patted dry)
  • 1 tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic (minced)


  • Mix all the ingredients in a food processor
  • Take the wrappers skins and place one teaspoon of the shrimp filling in the center
  • Start pleating one half of the wrapper traditionally should have at least seven pleats. When the half of the wrapper is pleated fold up to form a half-moon shape.
  • Use a bit of water to seal your dumpling if is needed.
  • Place the har gow dumplings in a bamboo steamer with parchment paper and steam for 6 to 8 minutes.
  • Serve with hoisin sauce fora sweet taste
