Olga Arnold, is a young fashion illustrator, from Tallinn, she is currently living in Germany and little by little she is building a name in the fashion business
One of the things I love about social media is how many talented people you can discover, and that’s how I had the opportunity to see the work of Olga. Since the beginning, I knew I wanted her on the blog and showcase her illustrations that are gorgeous.
My name is Olga and was born in Tallinn (a beautiful medieval city in Estonia, famous for his narrow streets in the Old Town). I now live in Germany and trying to find my place in the fashion world.
I think you can call me a shopaholic with a love for chic things like bags, shoes, dresses, and accessories. When I realized I can’t own them all, I’ve started to draw the fashion illustration 🙂
After copying the multiply styles (not the pics) of some other artists (yes, almost everybody do so at the beginning), I found myself disappointed about the fact, that the galleries on social media do not share my artwork at all. I’ve asked myself why –and started to search for my own style. Line after line, shade after shade–I’ve simplified and brightened my drawings… Now you can find my illustrations on Moschino, Marchesa, and s.o. Instagram. That’s really awesome!
Playful, sexy, and bright.
Faber Castell pencils and watercolor. Sometimes I add some details in Photoshop.
You sold your soul to the devil when you put on your first pair of Jimmy Choos. © Devil wears Prada.
So did I (I wore them on my wedding… love love love!)
I think it was an illustration of the natural cosmetics brand in Germany.
Be tough. Don’t stop. When you think you can’t make it and nobody notices or wants to work with you –don’t stop! Find your own style and go on. Someday, things change and you’ll find yourself on the top. And don’t forget to share your art on social media 🙂
I would like to sketch for Chanel (oh the textures!), Yves Saint Laurent (that elegance!), Burberry (Check check check!) or John Galliano (those dresses tho!).
And from the Illustrators, I would love to work with Stina Persson, Laura Laine or Megan Hess.
