It is important to have the right cosmetics for any skin type; the idea is to create a fresh natural appearance, but you don’t want to have any allergy reaction, rashes or skin eruptions.

- The second thing you have to know is that you have to avoid cosmetics that dry your skin.
- The third thing you need to know at the moment to pick up your cosmetics is the skin tone you have, choosing the wrong color, too light or too dark will make your makeup-less attractive.
Invest in quality makeup
Quality makeup is often expensive, but it will reflect on your skin. Cheap makeup can give you a plastic look and is difficult to blend with your natural skin. Look for good quality makeup that isn’t necessarily too expensive. It’s always better to invest in yourself in a few good quality makeups rather than have a bathroom, full of cheap makeup that it will not last, and it will make you look like a clown.
Dry Skin
If you suffer from dry skin, don’t despair. The best for you will be to look for a mousse or crème type foundation. If you use concealer, be sure it is cream base, and your compact powder should be pressed compact powder. Avoid loose powder or oil-free formulas, they will settle in the lines of your face. For the eye makeup, you can choose a silk-textured powder or crème eyes shadows and eyeliner should be either a shimmer pencil or a matte type. Sensitive Skin

Combination Skin
You can mix different products, for the different types of skin conditions on your face or you can choose products, which are specifically for combination skin.
Oily Skin
Try always to choose oil-free products, and apply a matte type foundation, loose powder has less oil than pressed powder. Avoid crèmes for eye shadow or mascara and creamy lipstick.
Now that we pick up our makeup let’s talk about how to make up ourselves for any occasion. It is important that you avoid wearing too much makeup.
Makeup supposed to enhance your face, not to bring negative attention to you. Try to avoid too much eyeliner; thick eyeliner will ruin your makeup, also if you wear too much mascara. About the foundation, make sure it is the same skin tone of yours, and it is important that you blend it well. And about the powder is the same principle, it has to have the same color as your skin, and it is important that you blend it well.
Lips
Apply lip liner to cover your lips, add color and your lipstick will stay longer, I personally like to put on the top of my lips and a little bit of white eyeliner, to give my lips more proportion, because I have small lips. Also, it is important that your lip liner doesn’t show, and your lipstick has to match your skin tone.
Occasion
It is important to wear the right makeup for each occasion if you are going to the beach you should not use the same makeup if you are going to a cocktail party, I personally like to have an effortless makeup, a little bit darker for the night, but just because I like really natural look.
