Perfect Beauty Routine
Today I bring you my perfect beauty routine. With summer already here, it is impossible not to go outside and enjoy this beautiful time we have outside.
I feel blessed to have 25 degrees in the middle of April and to be honest with this weather the only thing I want to do is to take my bicycle, do to the Donau and spent the rest of the day in my happy place on earth.
But today is all about my beauty routine, and why I like to pick more natural options than to buy expensive products. Although I have an extensive beauty routine at home, I believe beauty is more an inside-out routine than just expensive creams.
The secrets
Aloe Vera: this is one of my beauty secrets, for example, you can find this magical plant in absolutely every house in Venezuela, and not just for decoration… I like to apply the gel on my face and hair and used as a mask, especially when I am on the beach. You can also use aloe vera for sunburn, to minimize a scar, and more importantly, you can eat it! Although I am not the biggest fan of the flavour of the aloe gel, what I normally do is to cut it in little pieces, (size of a pill) and froze them. My extra secret I take one every morning.
Aloe vera has more than 75 potentially active components and includes vitamins, minerals, saccharides, amino acids, enzymes, lignin, saponins and salicylic acids. It provides 20 of the 22 required amino acids and eight of the eight essential amino acids, and more importantly, it has a lot of collagen, which helps your hair and skin from the inside out.
Coconut Oil: one of my favourite natural face creams is coconut oil, this reach oil has so many antioxidants, and is naturally antifungal, antibacterial and is a fantastic moisturizing. You can even use it as a makeup removal…
Coconut oil can also reduce wrinkles, thanks to the amount of collagen that it has, and more important prevent premature ageing
Nuxe Prodigieuse:in the number one oil in France, and is part of the French beauty routine most women have… This oil you can use it for the hair and skin. My favourite products of Nuxe are the lip balsam and the hand cream. The lip balsam I use before going to bed and make my lips extra soft. The hand cream I have it with me in my handbag and I repeatedly used during the day to keep my hand soft.
Rituals:this company arrived in Vienna not so long ago, and since I try their products, I fall in love immediately, not just because their products are great, but also because the smell of their products is amazing. My favourite at the moment is the body fortune scrub with sweet orange and cedar and the body fortune oil that I put in the shower. This combination makes my skin smell amazing during the day and makes my skin super soft.
