Chia seed is one of the healthiest food on the planet, these tiny black and white seeds from the Salvia hispanica  plant have a long history, it grows in Mexico and South America, it was used by the Mayas and Aztec cultural for its benefits.

Chia seeds are rich in fiber, protein,  Omega-3, calcium, manganese, magnesium, phosphorus, Vitamin B3, potassium, Vitamin B1 and B2, it’s also high in antioxidant, they are low-carb, it also regulates the blood sugar. For this reason, I like to add them in my juice, on my salad, and when I really need something sweet to eat, I make me a Chia pudding, with almond milk.

This Super Food power seeds, have to be a part of your daily diet, you can have one or two spoons per day, to get all the benefits of this super food. You can find a lot of recipes on the internet, but Chia pudding is so easy to prepare and to delicious that you really have to try it.

CHIA PUDDING

  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of chia
  • A little bit of stevia
  • Some drops of vanilla

PREPARATION

Mix first the vanilla with the almond milk and the stevia, add the 1/2 cup of chia, mix well with a spoon, Store covered in the refrigerator, after 20 min mix it again, and put it back in the refrigerator, and leave it for one hour or overnight, mix it with fresh fruits and raw almonds.
