Venezuelan Artist Jonathan Brender

Jonathan Brender is an incredible Venezuelan artist who is spreading the colors around him. From walls, buildings or just canvas, Jonathan is innovating the world of art. Every piece is unique and has millions of points paint by hand, with different colors. Although he was born in Caracas Venezuela, his work has been shown in London, Brazil, New York, and Caracas. He has also participated in the biggest art exposition like Art Basel Miami. Today I bring you guys a nice interview about his dreams, his projects, and his future

When did your passion for art started?

Since I was a little boy, my passion was drawing and sculpting.

How do you define yourself as an artist?

Focused and with a purpose.

Who has influenced you more as an artist?

Pollock and Cruz Diez

How is the process when you start working on a piece?

A blank canvas, I change course and I choose. I paint as I go.

What are your sources of inspiration?

My passion for colors and changing the Modern Art World.

On which projects are you working right now?

Shopping Center in Mexico, Shopping Center in Miami, Fort Lauderdale Airport, and others.

What can we expect from Jonathan in the future?

Murals in at least five International Airports.

How your heritage has influenced you as an artist?

The melting pot that was Venezuela with its variety of immigrants from all over the world, helped me open my mind to different cultures and influences.

How your work has evolved over the years?

From painting the basic abstract to creating my own recognizable pointillism style art, which is called Point Flowers.

What would you recommend to someone who is starting as an artist?

Don’t, it is a very difficult career.
