Makeup Artist Frauke Bergemann Gorski

Today we have a nice interview with makeup artist Frauke Bergemann Gorski she is since 11 years a freelance makeup artist, and had made

Photo Shootings, Video Shoots, commercials and editorial Shootings for magazines and productions all over the world. She is also a makeup coach for the brand Maria Galland Paris. Although Frauke has a tide schedule she manages to gives makeup lessons for women with cancer.

In February 2019 she will establish a company with a friend of her, where they offer business makeup workshops for women in leading positions.

When did you know, you wanted to be a makeup artist?

I already knew that I wanted to work as a makeup artist during my school days. But, then I decided to work as a dental technician, had two wonderful children and I was working as a fitness trainer.

After some years, I realized my dream was the makeup world, and I make my dream true in 2008 when I started my makeup training and worked as a freelancer straight away. After all, these years I can say that was the best decision.

Who are some people that have inspired you throughout your career?

People and international artists like Alex Box, Val Garland or Pat Mc Grath inspired me the most, but most importantly, it’s nature and art that inspires me. Colors, different shapes, and textures are simply great sources of inspiration.

How long have you been a makeup artist and how did you get your start in the industry?

I have been a Make-up Artist for 11 years now. After the Makeup school, I did many masterclasses with international Make-up and Hair- Artists, like Yasmin Heinz, Loni Baur, Tracy Cant, Philippe Mensah, Sabrina Michals, and Wendy Iles. That changed my work.

How would you describe your signature look and what is it about the style that sets you except for other makeup artists?

Less is more, describes my signature the most. I am absolutely addicted to skin and skincare. So there is nothing more beautiful than perfect pure skin. I only use makeup as much as necessary. This makes a face always looks natural, healthy, and fresh.
