I had the opportunity to try the three days detox box, and I am happy to say that I love it, although I was not looking for a lose weight program, I and with stressful days behind me and little time to cook, we sometimes really don’t take care in what ends up in our dishes.

You take six juices per day, every 2-3 hours depends on how you feel, and they have so many combinations that I promise you will not get bored. In Day one I started with Iron man: apple, pineapple, spinach, cabbage, and mint. For me was ideal because I am used to drinking juices with spinach, and one of my favorite fruits is pineapple, and more importantly I love this super green color this juice had. I continue with Pine Fiction: apple, pear, pineapple, lemon, curcuma, and cayenne pepper, my absolute favorite, for me this one was the most waiting juice of the day I love the freshness of the lemon, and the spice of the cayenne pepper mix it with curcuma, I was in heaven.

Although it’s been a long time I didn’t do any type of detox, at the beginning I feel great super energetic, in the afternoon I started with my hunger strike and headache, which is perfectly normal, so I was not surprised, but because I wanted to get through it I keep myself strong.

One of the things I also cut for these three days was also my beloved coffee, which is the most difficult for me, you see as a Venezuelan woman I love coffee although I cannot remember when I started to drink coffee, but the funny story is that it was my beloved Austrian aunt who taught me how to drink my coffee; as she would say: Sally you have to drink coffee like woman, black, without sugar and without milk! A tradition that I have till today and make me keep her alive every morning.

So back to my juice day, I drink my last juice at eight pm, and the headache was still there, so I decided to take a relax bath and go straight to bed, watch a bit TV, and I fall asleep a bit earlier as usual. I sleep great, that is something I have to say, I feel super lighter, and I wake up really happy and rested the next day. The second day was easier than the first one and third-day pass actually fasted than I spectate, and to be honest I could it done the fourth day.

Nevertheless, I love this experience and of course I will repeat once a month or once every 2 months, I think is important to invest in our bodies, and in our health, I do have a juice press machine, but I don’t have the time to press six juices a day, so thanks to Urban Monkey I will be able to reset myself often that I imagine.
