How did you come to start your own line?

Growing up I always created several pieces. And when I say pieces I mean several items, not only jewelry but also fashion pieces and accessories. I was always a creative type. I knew from early on, that I wanted to have my own brand someday. But I have to confess, I never thought it would be jewelry, I always anticipated that it would be a fashion label.

How did you get into fashion?

I created my own pieces of clothing from a very young age. I experimented early on how to wear my clothes differently – so you can say, that fashion was always something I had a passion for.

How would you describe your design aesthetic?

I design statement jewelry which means that everything is bold, attention-drawing, and spectacular. I’ve always loved everything sparkling, so it was a no brainer that my jewelry had to sparkle as much as possible.

Therefore, my jewelry pieces aren’t for shy insecure people. Those who wear my pieces stand out and they like that fact. It’s part of my philosophy that my jewelry highlights what’s already there.

Be bold and show who you are – I want to empower women to be their fabulous selves. And unique, sparkling, attention-grabbing statement jewelry is just the perfect accessory to do so.

How would you describe your technique?

Every single jewelry piece is handmade by myself – in Vienna. This also means that the pieces are really all unique. Even if there are designs I (re)create more than once, each piece is still unique – due to the fact, that it’s handmade, there are slight differences. Which makes the pieces even more special. I put a lot of time and effort into everything that I’m designing and creating.

How your previous career influence you today as a jewelry designer?

I grew up in a creative household. My father is a graphic designer and my mother is a contemporary artist, she paints pictures. So creativity really was always a part of my life. And growing up with creative parents definitely influenced me. I’m sure I don’t really know how much because it was such a given at all times. It’s a natural factor in my existence. And like I said I knew early on, that I wanted to have my brand someday. I just knew that I wanted to work in a creative field. So it was obvious, that I would work on that goal right away after finishing school.

Where do you find inspiration for your creations?

The short answer is life itself. Inspiration just comes to me. I never have to work for it. I never have to „get inspired“, it just happens. And this may be a movie I saw, a color, a photo,… really just anything. Also when I’m shopping for new materials, I never have a plan, I just buy what speaks to me, and then either while buying, some ideas pop in my head right the second, or they „appear“ later. My best ideas come to me right before I fall asleep – but as I said, it just happens. I certainly can’t force inspiration or creativity.

Which phase is the most delicate in creating a piece as a jewelry designer?

The most important moment in creating a piece is having the idea. If the idea is born, the only thing you have to focus on is if and how you can bring your idea to life. Everything else is „easy“

What is elegance according to you?

Confidence. If you’re confident and certain about who you are, you radiate a certain elegance.

What’s next for you professionally?

My goal is to make my jewelry brand more visible, to share my designs and philosophy with a wider audience – especially abroad.

I want to make the world a little bit more sparkly.
