Banana Cake Recipe
One of my easiest and my hubby favorite recipes is my Banana cake, I usually do it on Sundays, because is the day that the clock stops for us and we can just be together after a week of work. We just pause ourselves on Sundays and we cook together and watch movies.
Although this is a very simple cake, this banana cake is truly nice for those who love bananas as much as we do, and more important is very easy to make.
Normally I always follow the same steps for this kind of cakes, at the end, I mix the flour and the milk by hand because it gives the dough with a bit of air and then the cake can grow nicely, and for me, it has a better consistency as I will mix everything with the mixer.
- Electric Mixer
- 175 grams Butter
- 4 Eggs
- 170 grams Sugar
- 350 grams Flour
- 2 Bananas
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Backing Powder
- 1 cup Milk
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees ( in Europe we use 200 degrees in the USA would be 350 degrees)
- In a bowl with the electric mixer, mix the sugar, and the eggs for 7 min till you get a nice dick dough; add the melted butter, vanilla, and the bananas.
- In another bowl mix the flour, salt, and baking soda, with the help of fine strainer add one spoon at the time to the first bowl, and mix it slowly with the spoon, then add a bit of milk and mix slowly, then again the flour till you finish both the milk and the flour.
- Put in the oven for 45 min, when is ready set aside and wait for tills cold and served with vanilla Ice cream or my husband favourite whipped cream!
