PERFECT OUTFIT FOR THE OFFICE

PERFECT OUTFIT FOR THE OFFICE

The Outfit for the Office

Today I bring you guys, the perfect outfit for the office, for me is really important to be comfortable if I have to work the whole day, and this outfit is perfect because it has the basic, that each one of us need in our closet, the best thing is that everything is on sale, so don’t lose any more time a pick your favorite piece.

For today's look, I simply had to share my favorites Mango pieces with you guys. Although I work from home, I still trying to have a structured morning routine, I like to get dressed in a comfortable way, but still simple; and because I am also studying at the university I have to have a casual, comfortable and simple look that can take me from university to meetings, to take some photos, and back home to continue working, studying or editing my photos of the day.

1. The coat: I am totally in love with this coat, because is neutral, with wide lapels, and fur interior is just perfect for this cold weather, and more important pockets! I love pockets.

2. White shirt: a white shirt is always important to have in the closet, I think it is the basic number 1 in every woman’s, closet and I can not simply get enough white shirts. I especially like this V cut, because guess what optic, it makes me taller!

3. Black pant: is always a must, and this black skinny jean fit perfect, if you want to have boats, or simply sandals

4. Black handbag: this is a really cute bag, that I had put it together with this outfit, honestly I always carrying a big bag, with all my books, notes camera, etc., for me this is a perfect size!

5. cosmetic-bag:  I like to have some beauty products with me during the day in case I need refreshment, and how cute is this cosmetic bag?

6. belt: details, details and more details, although I like a simple casual look, you can never forget the belt.

7. Fedora-hat: you know we Venezuelan pay extra attention to out hair, and the fact to be in winter, with the wind and probably snow, I like to protect my hair with this cool fedora-hat. We invest so much time doing our hair, ( in Venezuela I mean ) that it is a custom always to try to hold my hair in the best way possible.

8. Boots: for this look, I pick these boots but is simply because I like to have a crazy touch with a simple outfit, and I always like to have an extra cm.

GENIUS, ARTIST, FASHION INNOVATOR DAVID BOWIE

GENIUS, ARTIST, FASHION INNOVATOR DAVID BOWIE

David Bowie a celebration of British musical talent

Genius, artist, fashion innovator extraordinaire, inspirational are but a few of the words one could use to describe Brixton born pop idol David Bowie.

Mr.Bowie was certainly a rule breaker and pushed many boundaries in the eyes of a conservative Britain in the early seventies.  He questioned many subjects ahead of his time and his gender was always questionable in an intriguing manner. It was mainly his interpretation through mime and the flamboyantly outrageous costumes that created such a dazzling allure on stage. Although he said the outfits & makeup were a way of masking his weakness to be able to sing, I think how wrong a statement that is: his deep husky masculine voice was a wonderful contrast to his androgynous image.

The mood of London, New York, LA, Berlin and in fact all corners of the world is of sadness. But it shouldn't be. It should be a celebration of a great artist who helped break the shackles of individuals who lived repressed lives and who gave rays of light and hope.

His music will always be an important legacy in British Pop culture.

May his sounds continue the everlasting road of enjoyment and inspiration

INTERNATIONAL MODEL YVONNE AMORES

International Model Yvonne Amores

Today we bring you guys a little interview we made to Yvonne Amores, she is an international model, she was born in Austria and growing up, she had moved and traveled to many countries. She participates in the miss Vienna last year, but her career as a model didn’t just start with Miss Vienna, but also back in Australia when she won the Miss Supranational Australia 2014.

She has built her international career as a model and has modeled for various labels, print campaigns, and TV Shows.

Where were you born and what was your pre-model life like?

I was born in Vienna. I have lived most of my life in Australia after moving from Austria and France.

How were you discovered?

I posted some pictures and polaroids online and received requests from photographers. I started shooting, networking and getting more work.

When did you decide to become a model?

I was always a little poser as a young girl and loved being in front of the camera. But a bigger dream was to become a beauty queen!

What has been one of your favorite career experiences so far?

Apart from winning my title in 2014, my favorite job was spending a week in Thailand shooting for a luxury hotel chain.

Did you have an interest in modeling or fashion before starting as a model?

Yes ever since I was a little girl I loved dressing up and taking pictures, walking up and down the hallway in heels that were way too big for me!

What advice would you pass along to those starting out in the business?

I would get in contact with reputable photographers and agencies that tailor to your look. Then build your portfolio, showing off your versatility and unique style.

You have become successful for many reasons what do you think the top few are?

My biggest success is fulfilling my dream of becoming a beauty queen, representing Australia at the Miss Supranational pageant in Europe. But another achievement I am very grateful for is having traveled so much and living in many countries.

What is the ultimate goal of your career?

I am passionate about many things - modeling, fitness, design, traveling... I want to build my brand that will incorporate all my skills and passions.

2016 RESOLUTIONS

2016 RESOLUTIONS

Here are my step-by-step resolutions, to hold on and not to fail

A New Year just started, and what it all the new resolutions everybody is making. Every year people start to make resolutions and, of course, we say yes I am going to do it, but in the end, most of us fail in that intent to make our life better. Today's post is about how to make real steps to make our life better, although it all depends on our personal goals, I think this could be an easy way to start changing our lives in a positive way.

2015 was an emotional roller coaster for me, to be 100% honest. It was a very stressful year, but also a year of learning, I always think that it doesn’t matter how hard the things are you can always learn something about it, and, believe me, I learned a lot in 2015. Consequently, I am really looking forward to 2016 and make it the best year.

Make physical challenges

This one is a cliché, but we always start, stop, start again, and the key is to add exercise to our life. Try something new! on the internet, there are a lot of options if you are not the gym type, and you can make it at home. I also have found a lot of challenges, where you have to make between 15 and 20 min exercise, for those of you who don’t have too much time during the week.

Be good with yourself

Dedicate time to yourself, where you can sit at least once a week with a friend just to talk and disconnect a little bit, surround yourself with positive people. Take time to read that book you always wanted… So my 2016 resolution is to take time for me and me only!

Eat more green

It doesn’t matter which vegetable; important is to add it little by little, be creative and cook in a different way!

Control your posture

Something that we don’t pay much attention, is how we sit and stand, try to stretch during the day, and focus in how you sit, sometimes I forget completely and I sit like I usually do, which is really strange, but sometimes I set a reminder, and go straight back up, ( I hope one day I will not need any more this reminder..)

Discover new places

This is the perfect excuse to mix relaxation, me-time, and friends. Discovering new places with friends can be really fun, and interesting…

Clean up your closet

Put out all the clothes that you have not worn over a year, believe me, if you didn’t wear it already probably you will not wear them anymore, and organize your closet for good. Remember when you have more space, you can have more new things!

Drink more water

Normally I was not the water type, but little by little I have been drinking more water and I feel more energy than before. I started by drinking a glass of cold water in the morning, before my coffee, and then I add another glass of water before my lunch, and so on, today I am able to drink almost 3 liters in a day!

More important… don’t forget to smile!

Because to feel good on the outside, you have to feel it in the inside!

NEW YEARS EVE INSPIRATION

NEW YEARS EVE INSPIRATION

New Years Eve Inspiration

In 2 days is finally New Year's Eve, and a new year is going to start, how excited is that! well, I am so excited for this new year's eve, that in cooperation with Runway Vienna, we pick a couple of looks, to make this special night incredible beautiful.

This year was really important for me; a lot of things happened during this year, some good some bad, but never the less I can tell you, it was an incredible journey not just for me, but also for Lemontrend.

We got to know incredible people like Yasmin Heinz, Heiko Palach, Louis Mariette, and much more; we had the opportunity to make so many interviews and get inspired by all these beautiful people, that we really want to celebrate how far we have come, and that’s why we got some inspiration together with Alexis Fernandez the owner of Runway Vienna, our favorite shop in town of course.

For this holiday season, for those of you who like to add a bit glitter to your wardrobe, this is a cocktail dress to die for…

For those of you who are not a big fan of glitter we also pick this blue asymmetric dress for a cocktail party.

For a not so formal celebration we pick these pants with this beautiful jacket, all in a minimalistic black combination, however, we wanted to add the crazy touch with this gorgeous handbag, to give the pop-out effect.

For those of you who have a formal dinner celebration this New Year's Eve, we wear again a bit glitter, never the less simple strapless dress.

Most important of where are you going to celebrate, we at Lemontrend wish you all a beautiful New Years' Eve, surrounded, by all your beloved ones, and great 2016!

Special thanks to:
