Perfect Italian Bolognese Sauce

I am a huge fan of Bolognese pasta, and I like to prepare it on Sundays because first I love it and second it relaxes me. For me preparing Bolognese is like one-hour yoga session.

Bolognese has a history, and actually the first documented ragout (meat-based sauce) pasta recipe comes from the 18th. The recipe was published by Pellegrino Artusi, an Italian businessman, better known for his cookbook La Scienza in Cucina e l'arte di mangiar bene ("Science in the Kitchen and the Art of Eating Well")

Normally I cooked just for one hour, but after talking with the lovely Valentina ( the blogger behind Valentina in shorts) I realized that I was making the sauce with not enough time for the ragout really to cook.

She suggested cooking the sauce for at least for 3 hours instead of 1, and I followed this time her recipe

Ingredients

500 grams ground Beef
2 Carrots minced
2 Celery minced
1 Onion minced
6 Cloves of Garlic minced
1 can Tomato sauce Mutti is my favorite
Dash of red wine
2 Bay leaves
Salt & Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Butter
1 tbsp Olive oil

Instructions

Add the minced onions, garlic,carrots and celery to a pan with the butter and olive oil. You have to make a sofrito with all these ingredients and stir occasionally until tender, about 5 minutes.
Add the meat and the salt to the sofrito and cook it till the fat is gone. Add the bay leaves
When the fat is gone you can add the wine and cook it till the wine is gone. After the wine is gone you can add the cane of tomato ( my favorite is the Mutti brand) and low the flame.
Let it simmer for 3 hours or more. Every 30 min stir occasionally and add water if it gets dry.

Serve with fresh Pasta and fresh Parmesan

The best way to wear a paper bag pant is with a fitted top. Although The paper bag pants tend to add a bit volume to your figure, they can be very stylish, therefore you have to balance the volume on your body.

Nevertheless, you can also add layers to your outfit, with a crop top and a long blazer to cover your hips, cardigan or jackets. Important is to choose slim styles to avoid adding extra volume to your outfit.

Because the paper bag pants add the focus to your waist, you can add some balance by using a statement pair of earrings, to bring some attention to your face, or a statement necklace to have a similar effect.

But if you are petite, actually this pair of pants is ideal for you because will elongate your legs, and it will give the illusion that you look taller. By adding a pair of heels, you will look amazing and tall.

Some paperbag pants come with a belt and some not, the best option in the case your pant comes without a belt is to combine it with a thinner belt rather than a thick one. Most of the paper bag pants come with a ruffled up on the waist and you don't want to cover up the ruffles with a thick belt.

For those of you who are tall, you can combine with flat shoes or even white sneakers.

If you are not the curvy one, like I am, but you rather have a straight body, this pair of pants will define your waistline and will give the illusion of an hourglass shape body.

Austrian model Pamela Korimort

Pamela Korimort is an Austrian model, which has worked with the top Austrian and German designers. She is also a stylist, and she is working on making her degree in Event management. We talked to Pamela about her career as a model and her next goals

For those who don’t know you, tell us about yourself!

A girl with corners and edges, sensitive and full of surprises with positive energy

Where were you born and what was your pre-model life like?

I was born in Lower Austria. I completed a training as a retail merchant in the food industry and then spent some time in the fashion industry as a visual merchandiser

How have you been discovered?

A few years ago I worked for a small boutique on their fashion show and a model made me aware

When did you decide to become a model?

I have always loved to pose in front of the camera of my parents when it was turned on and by kind, I participated in smaller events as a dancer

What has been one of your favorite career experiences so far?

There is a lot to tell. I would say the hair shows for Schwarzkopf and many other commercial advertising jobs were very exciting. I was also able to plan some projects myself and could implement them with fashion designers. My experience in the fashion world is varied and that's why I love this job

Did you have an interest in modeling or fashion before starting as a model?

Yes, I've always looked at fashion magazines with great enthusiasm, but I never intended to work as a model

What advice would you pass along to those starting out in the business?

Do a few shoots with very good photographers and use these images for a set card or forward them to agencies. Drinking a lot of water, good skincare and sport is also very important to me. Skinny jeans, a white t-shirt and black high heels for casting are never out

You have become successful for many reasons what do you think the top few are?

my open access to people, my reliability, the urge to always make new and last but not least because I want to be a role model for other younger women

What is the ultimate goal of your career?

I always set myself small goals to achieve bigger goals. I want to get my degree in Event management, and I see myself in the next 5 years working in advertising.

How to get organized

Nowadays, life can get sometimes so busy that it is hard to keep track of all. The secret to success is to be organized, and have all under control. But, sometimes we can get lost in the mess of our days. However, it is important to keep track of our appointments, emails, content you name it! And sometimes it can be hard if you are not well organized.

Currently, we are always on the run, and with the expectations of anywhere workplace, it is important to get the most out of our day. But, how can get my time better-organized, without giving up on the mess?

It's all about Time

Nowadays is all about timing, and how well we manage our time. It is important to plan your day in advance. How do I do it? Every night, before I go to bed, I prepare a mental to-do list, of the things I need to do the next day. Like this, I prioritized the most important things and I woke up with my task on my head.

Because I am a person who wakes up every morning at 6 am (except for the weekends) I like to drink my coffee in peace and start immediately my day. Meanwhile, I drink my coffee at home, I answer email, write articles and send proposals, like this the most important tasks I can accomplish, I do them at this time.

Set Priorities

The most important tasks I need to do I always do them first. If I need to go to the gym I do it first thing in the morning and is a task less on my list. Like this, the most important things I need to do are done in the morning, and the rest is easy to organize.

I keep track of my time. How?
