TERRACE INSPIRATION

TERRACE INSPIRATION

Terrace Inspiration

Today I have for you guys a small terrace Inspiration. You see, Vienna is getting warmer, and there is nothing better than to drink your morning coffee on the terrace when the city is still quiet and you have a chance to see the sunrise.

After a long winter, the warm time in Vienna is beautiful, so I got inspired and put together a little guide so you can create a space for yourself and you enjoy your time outside, away from technology, maybe with a nice book and a cup of tea.

BBQ, dinners, or just to hang out, a terrace is the perfect place to spend the summer, and get the so much need it vitamin D I miss during the winter.

For me, it is important that is cosy, full of colours and somehow romantic. If you add some flowers together with dark green plants, you will have a nice combination, one of the plants I am in love with are orange or lemon little trees together with some lavender flowers.

For me is perfect to plant some tomatoes, chillies, basil and have my own little garden. Nowadays with the stressful lives we have, there is nothing better than to relax by doing some gardening work, although I don’t have a house with a garden, a terrace is also fine.

To get the perfect romantic atmosphere, nothing like some candles or oil lanterns, to turn on during the night maybe with some little lights you could hang around, and you will have the perfect evening for your self, or maybe with some friends.

For the sunny days, it is important to have an umbrella, with some pillows to fill the chair to add extra comfort. It is perfect to spent the afternoon on Saturdays on a terrace to enjoy the sun and have a little getaway in the city.

PERFECT GERMAN CHEESECAKE

PERFECT GERMAN CHEESECAKE

German Cheesecake

Today I will show you guys how to make a simple, but incredibly original German Cheesecake. Although there are a lot of versions of cheesecakes, the oldest cheesecake recipe is from the Greeks, until the Romans took the recipe. However, the oldest modern recipe comes from Le Viandier a French cookbook from the 14th century.

The oldest German version was found in the cookbook of Anna Wecker from 1598, and in her recipe, she used quark, eggs, sugar, and butter, which is not that different from the recipe I used.

I personally, was used to preparing the American version, which has cream cheese instead of quark and condensed milk instead of sugar, with a topping of guava marmalade.

But since my husband is very very German, well that version was not an option, therefore after experimenting a little bit, I found the perfect and easy recipe for this typical German cheesecake.

In conclusion, I think my husband loves me a little bit more since I use this recipe.

HASHTAGS FOR INSTAGRAM

HASHTAGS FOR INSTAGRAM

Hashtags for Instagram

Are hashtags that important? Are they really necessary? These are some of the questions I get about hashtags, but what is a hashtag really? A hashtag is a type of metadata tag used on some social media channels, like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram, allowing the people to search specific topics on those social media channels.

Hashtags are often underestimated, therefore not everybody uses them. But, what are the benefits of using hashtags? Well, the answer is very simple; it gives better visibility to your content. When you use relevant hashtags, users that are not following you can find your content by following or searching that particular hashtag.

Actually, hashtags are nowadays so important that when you use at least one hashtag on Instagram, your post will have an average of 12,6% more engagement than a post without hashtags. Therefore, if you are looking to grow your account it really worth investing in a hashtag strategy for your brand.

In this post, I will focus on Instagram Hashtags and how they can benefit your content and interaction.

Why is it important to add hashtags to your Instagram Posts

The best way to get discovered by a new audience on Instagram is by using relevant and targeted hashtags on your post and Instastories. When you get discovered by a new audience there is a big chance that you will get more followers, interactions, and therefore more engagement on your content.

How does it work?

Instagram hashtags works as a category, means if I am looking for dinner inspiration ideas, and I give in the search #dinnerideas, all the post that has this hashtag will appear on my search feed and if I see something that I like I will probably open that account, like that post, take a look on the profile and If this profile has great content I will end up following that account.

If you are a fashion photographer, who just post an incredible fashion photograph, you would probably then use the hashtags #fashion #fashionohotography #photographer

Then, that post would be cataloged on Instagram, so other users who are interesting in fashion and photography can easily find that post. Consequently, hashtags can really push your content.

Where to add them?

You can add them to your post, Instastories, and your bio to make your profile even more functional. Therefore is easier for you to turn your profile into a business profile and increase the visits to your website.

How to track them

Turning your private profile into a business profile on Instagram allows you to get the insight of your post. With the Business Profile, you will be able to track and analyze how effective your hashtag strategy is. You can see the amount of new follows, reach, impressions, profile visits, website visits, and discovery.

If you take a closer look at hashtags, you will see how many people discovered your content through the hashtag you used.

Develop a strategy

The best way to start is by doing research on your audience. Who is your audience? Which interest they have? See which hashtags your audience is using, and which hashtag fit your business. They should be relevant, and more importantly, they should contain the keywords that better defines your business and how your audience would look for your business.

Research your competitors

Any type of strategy needs competitor research; find out which hashtags your competitors are using, take a closer look on which one provides more engagement, and develop your strategy

Related Hashtags

Find the related hashtags, like #photography #photographer #fashion #fashionphotographer #fashionphotography and add them to your post.

When is the right time?

The art of Instagram is not just the right content or hashtag, it is also about timing... To discover when your audience is online will determine how much engagement you will get on your content. If you share your content when your audience is most active on Instagram, you will probably drive more engagement on that post. When you have more engagement, Instagram will put that post higher on the user's feed, which means, you will have more chances to get more engagement. More engagement more visibility

Happy tagging!

3 LIFE CHANGING TIPS TO STAY POSITIVE

3 LIFE CHANGING TIPS TO STAY POSITIVE

How to improve your life and stay positive

I always try to stay positive. But nowadays life can be very stressful. We have a lot of work here and there and sometimes is difficult to avoid stress. Although  I have a positive way to see life, sometimes life can get so stressful that is difficult to not let yourself be stress or frustrated

My personal way to deal with problems, and handle situations are always with humor (as I always say, it is better to laugh about it than to cry about it) Therefore, I am very good at seeing things in a positive way no matter how hard they are.

Even so, I have this positive way of seeing life is not easy to stay positive all the time because I cannot avoid being stressed from time to time. Life can be sometimes very frustrating, and we accumulate all that frustration during the day. Sometimes talking with your partner or friends, might help, but that can even feed the negativity.

Having a little daily routine can help you to improve the way you feel and see things, and of course to stay positive. This particular routine has helped me to improve that aspect of my life.

Being Thankful

Although I wake up very early in the morning, I take the time to think about all the things that I am thankful for. By taking just 5 minutes to think about all the things you have, the people you love, the things you have achieved, and just contemplate your life, is enough for starting the day is a great way and keep you positive.

I always stand up very positive, after doing this, and I see with an appreciation for the rest of my day.

Choose positive Friends

There is nothing more stressful and consuming that to have people around you that complain all the time.  In addition, these people bring conflict, drama, and negativity to your life. Don’t take me wrong, is not that I don’t like to hear my friend’s problems... It is just that there are some people that feed themselves from negativity, and I choose to let those friends go.

I like to surround myself with positive people where I can learn something, and which brings joy to my life.

I notice the good things around my day

When you stop complaining about the bad things during the day and focus on the little good thing that happened to you, you can change your whole day into a positive one.

As well as there are some frustrating moments there are also little victories as well, I decided to focus my attention on those moments.
